ART OF WOR
myspace.com/artofwor
A broken finger was a blessing in disguise for former session guitarist Fergus Hunt. Unable to work, Fergus threw himself into writing, and within 6 months had an album’s worth of material, recruited band members Andrew Thomas (bass) and Dave Nygaard (drums) and signed a recording and management agreement with PLW. Art of Wor delivers a Korn-like sound, ripping riffs a la Rage Against The Machine and just a hint of old world Gothic. Currently in the studio recording songs for their debut release, keep an eye out for their scorching live show at a venue near you.

SARAH AND THE KING BEES
myspace.com/skbees
Three high school friends got together in April 2008 and after realising a common passion, decided to form a band. The result was Sarah and the King Bees, known to many as the SKBees or simply The Bees. (Sarah Paletua, vocals/acoustic guitar and twins, Reuben Wakefield, bass and Max Wakefield, lead guitar)
After a courtship which lasted almost all of 2009, the trio eventually signed with PLW early this year to kick start their professional career.
Sarah's sparkling tones along with the twins' laid back rhythms create a refreshing, good-feeling musical journey. With influences ranging from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers to Taylor Swift, the down to earth attitudes of the trio allow for a unique pop acoustic mix and warm charisma not easily found in this highly electronic age. They are pure music.
Sarah and the King Bees are due for release July 2010.
